Program Overview

Connecting skilled surgeons with communities in need.

Our Visiting Surgeons Program connects skilled surgical volunteers with communities in need. Volunteer surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses join missions to provide life-changing care while mentoring local medical professionals.

Our Visiting Surgeons Program brings together experienced surgical professionals from around the world to provide life-changing care in underserved communities. Whether you're a surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurse, or other healthcare professional, your skills can make an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients who otherwise would not have access to surgical care.

How It Works

Our structured approach ensures maximum impact for patients and sustainable skill transfer.

Step 1

Patient Screening

Local healthcare workers identify and screen patients who need surgical intervention. We review cases to ensure appropriate surgical candidacy.

Step 2

Surgery

Our visiting surgical teams perform life-changing procedures alongside local surgeons, ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainable care.

Step 3

Training

We conduct hands-on training for local medical staff, building capacity for ongoing care after our team departs.

Step 4

Follow-up

Local partners provide post-operative care and follow-up. We maintain communication to track outcomes and address complications.
